An essential board for a lot of surfers as an everyday shortboard. With the performance attributes as the ultra box but modified to address the everyday conditions most of us come up against. i.e conditions where you want to rip but the conditions aren’t epic and you don’t want to ride your groveller.
So this board has been created with a curvier outline to shorten the rail , especially through the tail area and lowered the entry and exit rockers to increase paddle and planing speeds to cover a wide range of conditions. Single concave under front foot acts as a gas pedal and generous double concave through the fins provides rail to rail ease and extra lift in the small stuff.
This board has been designed for high performance surfing on the majority of waves that most of us ride on a daily basis.
The UBD is also an ideal board choice for an intermediate surfer looking to ride a performance shortboard.
